NY LGBT Network is excited to be in community with William Cullen Bryant High School to facilitate our LGBT 101 for Parents & Caregivers Workshop. This interactive presentation addresses common stereotypes, vocabulary of identities and labels related to sexual orientation and gender identity and discusses the impact of bullying on LGBTQ+ students. LGBT 101 for Parents & Caregivers Workshop is tailored for school communities, specifically parents and caregivers. Our goal is for families, caregivers, and school community members to understand the importance of accepting, affirming, and celebrating LGBTQIA+ youth.
